Siebengebirge

The Siebengebirge is one of the oldest nature reserves in Germany and is home to the northernmost wine-growing area on the Rhine. From the Ölberg, its highest mountain, you have a magnificent view all the way to Cologne Cathedral on a clear day. The Siebengebirge is rich in art-historical monuments, witnesses of an eventful past.

Königswinter with its immediate proximity to the former federal capital Bonn, with its culture mile, as well as Cologne, with its art-historical and cultural offer, are always worth a trip.

Especially worth seeing is also the Siebengebirgsmuseum in Königswinter: www.siebengebirgsmuseum.de
