Costs for the consignor

The costs for a posting of objects have a fixed component (fixed costs) and a variable component (variable costs).

Fixed costs

The fixed costs consist of the fees for auction handling, advertising, internet publication and cataloguing of consigned objects and are determined as follows:

For the execution of the auction, the consignor pays the auctioneer 15% commission from the sale proceeds plus currently 19% VAT on the commission. Irrespective of the sale of the consigned objects, the consignor shall pay the auctioneer a fee for handling, advertising, each internet entry and cataloguing per auction.

  • For a consignment value of up to 2.000,- Euro and a maximum of 15 consigned objects the total fee is 25,- Euro plus 19% VAT.
  • For a consignment value of more than 2.000,- Euro the handling fee is 0,25% of the total consignment value plus currently 19% VAT.
  • If more than 15 items are consigned, a fee of 2.50 Euro plus 19% VAT is payable per lot entry in the auction list.

The entry in the internet catalogue costs 2,50 Euro plus 19% VAT per consigned object.

Variable costs

Variable costs are the seller's commission. The commission depends on the sale and is only charged if the object is auctioned. The commission amounts to 17.85% of the hammer price, including the applicable VAT.

AUCTION PARTNERS works exclusively on a success-dependent commission basis, with the exception of the small fixed costs.
